Larceny Bourbon Whiskey (750 ML)
Larceny is a smooth, small batch, sipping bourbon that uses wheat as the secondary grain rather than the more conventional choice of rye. Yummers.
The famous bourbon brand Old Fitzgerald was named for John E. Fitzgerald, who according to a family biography of Pappy Van Winkle may have been a rather more colourful character than we imagine!
Fitzgerald, it seems, was a bonded treasury agent, one of the only people to carry keys to the storage warehouses. Apparently he also had a taste for the very finest bourbons and didn’t mind helping himself! It was this infamous character with the fine palate who was immortalised by the brand back in the 1880s.
